The video procedure is available with English subtitles. Start the video, click on “⚙️” and on “Subtitles,” and choose “English (Canada).”
Steps to Follow
1. Go to the “Data” tab and the “Contacts” subtab.
2. Click on the contact you want to edit.
3. Click on “Edit” at the top right.
4. In the fifth page of the dialog box, change the role of the user to “Janitor.”
5. To restrict the janitor’s access, check “Restriction by Assignation.”
6. Enter their username, password, and any other information you deem necessary. The janitor will receive their username and password by email.
7. Click on “Finish.”
8. Go to the “Data” tab and the “Properties” subtab.
9. Click on the property to which the new janitor is assigned.
10. Click on “Edit” at the top right.
11. In the third page of the dialog box, click on “Select the janitors”, and select the janitor you have just created.
12. Click on “OK.”
13. Click on “Finish.”
14. Go to the “Data” tab and the “Leases” subtab.
15. Click on the lease to which the janitor now has access.
16. In the fifth page of the dialog box, in the “Janitorial Service” section, check “Yes” to allow the janitor to edit the unit.
17. Click on “Finish.”
18. Repeat steps 15 to 17 for every lease to which the janitor now has access.
You have now created an access for a janitor.
The janitor can collect and increase rents, renew leases, and reserve units to which they are assigned. They can also add, consult, and edit appointments, service calls, and works. In addition, they can consult the list of tenants and send them an email or a text message.
